The
IRS has only the requirement to mail a letter to you
demanding payment. If you do not respond, they will mail
another letter, this time known as the "30
Day Letter". If you do not cure the problem
after 30 days from the date of this letter, the IRS can then
start to seize your assets including garnishing a large
portion of your wages each pay period.
They
can and will try to extract money from your bank account and
have the authority to seize other property. We can get bank
levies released within 3 days in most circumstances.
If
your wages have been levied by IRS please call us as soon as
possible. In most cases, we can get this levy released
within 48 hours. Wage levies are a last resort effort to get
your attention. Now that they have your attention, lets
solve the IRS problem. Don't delay, the IRS can take the
majority of your wages before you even see the money. On top
of that the money you don't get is taxable.
